I really enjoyed living at no. 51 Hes Road, it was ideally situated and the house spacious and well cared for. Andy was the perfect landlord, little things like being able to paint our rooms whatever colour we liked made the place really feel like our own. Having a list of who to contact when things go wrong and knowing that we wouldn’t have to battle to get money back for general house repairs gave great peace of mind too, as opposed to some of the horror stories you hear about students living in squalor because the landlord wont fix anything. Overall it was a fantastic two years!

Brownlow Street was such a brilliant house. The quality alongside the location to YSJ was amazing, in fact everything was so amazing we stayed on another year! Another reason behind us staying was Andy and Paula. They were brilliant in looking after us, if anything was wrong with the house, or we needed some advice they were always there for us, we never went without for long! The house at Brownlow really became our home for 2 years, not just somewhere to rent, but somewhere to be happy and that was thanks to Andy, Paula and the team. All 6 of us agree that if we could move anywhere again it would be number 1 Brownlow Street.
I lived at 1 brownlow street for 2 years and was really enjoyable. House itself is perfect location, and I’ve never seen a better student house. The landlord andy was fast to respond to any issues . University is stressful enough (especially during a pandemic) so living in a lovely home with an excellent landlord made the experience that bit better. Brownlow street 2019 -21
Andy is a friendly, approachable landlord and really seems to care about the welfare of his tenants. Any problems were dealt with efficiently and professionally and an up to date list of contacts was always provided. Intrusions were kept to a minimum and our privacy was respected. I have no complaints whatsoever!
Thanks for being an excellent landlord! You were far and away the most informative and efficient we’ve dealt with. It was a fantastic year for all of us and the house was really lovely.
You should advertise your best points- we were really pleased to have a gardening service included in our rent but didn’t know until they arrived!
Just want to say a massive thanks to how helpful Andy, Paula and John have been throughout the year! Considering we have had two lads drop out it’s been an enjoyable year in a great student house! I lived at 1 Brownlow street for two years. Andy the landlord is trustworthy and reliable, so important for students. Amazing house compared to typical student houses, location amazing few minutes to YSJ campus and town centre. Andy is always just a text away for any repairs and maintenance and it’s organised with speed and attentiveness. This might seem normal but many student landlords do not respond at all let alone as quickly as Andy.I can’t fault the house, perfect for 6 people and never felt overcrowded. Quality of furnishings is good and Andy replaced anything I needed immediately and this kept the house in really good condition. I cannot recommend Better Student Homes and 1 Brownlow street enough!
