I’ve been fortunate to live in a “Prospect Property” house for my final 2 years at York Uni (15 Heslington Road, 2003-2005). The standard of accommodation has been excellent and Andy (the landlord) compares very well with other landlords in the area that my friends have had! He is always helpful and manages to get people around to fix any problems (of which we have had few) very quickly and with minimum disruption. I would recommend Andy to anybody looking for a house in York.

We lived at Lawrence street for two years from 2018 to 2020. Andy was always able to help and make things as easy as possible for us. Whenever anything was broken it would be repaired or replaced immediately. We cannot fault Andy as a landlord. I personally have loved living in the house due to the location, the house itself and Andy as the landlord.

Overall the standard of accommodation is fantastic with the landlord being amazing. Mervyn (maintenance man) has been a Godsend and is always there if we need him (even at 8pm on Sunday evening)! Thanks for two great years!

Andy is a friendly, approachable landlord and really seems to care about the welfare of his tenants. Any problems were dealt with efficiently and professionally and an up to date list of contacts was always provided. Intrusions were kept to a minimum and our privacy was respected. Andy has people working for him who will come around regularly if anything needs fixing, but heand his team only come around when asked and they give plenty of notice if they need to call round. In the last two years he has always made it feel like it is our home. He doesn’t mind us putting our own stamp on our rooms (within reason!). Posters for example were no problem. Overall with Andy and Prospect Property you will have an excellent house and no hassle. It all makes uni life so much easier!
